Thee Village Sampler
of Smicksburg.
Built in the late 1860's .
Thee Village Sampler was the home of Dr.Crawford ,our town's first
physician. When visiting his home you will see his pharmacy and the
patient treatment room. Many of the local folks tell stories
about being delivered right here in Thee Sampler by Dr Crawford.
Martha and Bob Steele ,owners of Thee Sampler started rebuilding
the good doctor's home and opened the first floor in May of 1992.
The second floor followed in 1993 and then Thee Cafe and Bake Shop four
years later. |

Doctor Crawford's
home now is
filled with a wonderful collection of all the things that make a
home special.. Each of the nine rooms features a collection of specialty
items with a specific theme
At Thee Village Sampler we are sampling goodies
every day. Try our own Famous Cream and Butter Fudge or gourmet sauces,
coffee and dips. We dare you! We search the markets for the newest and
finest items to fill our Shoppe. |
